Ideation to Creation pairs a small number of ideators with builders, marketers, and maintainers. Both sides are assessed by the same protocol before an introduction is made, and neither side can pay its way in.

Two applicants. One standard.

The same rigor is applied to the person holding the idea and to the person who will make it.

The Phronesis Thought Lab takes every question. Ideation to Creation does not take every idea.

The ideator

An idea worth making

Assessed on the idea's standing and on what the applicant is prepared to commit.

  • The idea has been through the lab's two questions: it leaves people better off, and it can earn without keeping anyone afraid, confused, or dependent.
  • Provenance is clean: no employer, partner, or licence with a claim on it.
  • The year after launch is funded, not just the build. Maintenance is budgeted before an introduction is made.
  • The applicant accepts the pairing decision, including when it is not the person they had in mind.

The creator

A craft that holds up

Assessed on demonstrated work in one of three crafts: building, marketing, or maintaining.

  • Evidence of work is reviewed directly, not described. Shipped things, running things, measurable outcomes.
  • References are verified, and prior pairings through the practice count for more than any portfolio.
  • Willingness to work to a defined scope, under NDA, with the lab kept in the loop.
  • The creator accepts the pairing decision as well. A good builder is not introduced to an idea that has not cleared review.

The instrument is the same on both sides.

This practice exists because a career in credentialing, building fair, transparent, defensible ways to judge professional competence, applies directly to the question most ideators cannot answer: whether the person in front of them is actually any good.

02Safeguarded

One agreement, both sides bound

Two assessed parties. One agreement between them.

Your idea and your creation are protected before anyone meets. Phronesis Labs provides the non-disclosure agreement. It is mutual, it is signed by both parties before the first conversation, and it covers the idea as brought and everything that is made from it.

Neither party drafts it and neither party negotiates it from a position of advantage. The same instrument is used for every pairing.

Both sides are bound, both sides are covered

The ideator's idea is protected. The creator's methods, tooling, and work product are protected. Disclosure is symmetrical.

Signed before the first conversation

No idea is described to a creator, and no creator is described to an ideator, until the agreement is executed by both.

The agreement itself is available for review on request, before inquiring.

03Protocol

The same sequence for every applicant

How a pairing is made.

The sequence is the same for every applicant on either side. None of it is skipped and none of it is accelerated.

An introduction is only made once both have cleared the same review, and only under a Phronesis Labs NDA that covers the idea and everything made from it.

Assess

The same review on both sides. Evidence is examined, references are verified, the idea's standing is checked.

Agree

The Phronesis Labs NDA is executed by both parties. Nothing is disclosed before this.

Pair

An introduction is made with a defined scope: what will be built, how it will be marketed, who will maintain it.

Follow

The lab stays in the loop through launch and the year after. A pairing that goes well becomes a reference for both.
